Majorca - Drach Caves, Pearl shop with digital museum & Local Market Tour
Three Majorca musts share top billing on this tour. You'll stroll the stalls of a farmer's market, delve into the depths of the famous Drach Caves and visit the renowned Majorica pearl factory. Xisca, one of our local guides, says, ‘Before you even set foot inside, you call feel something truly spectacular lies ahead. The cave system is a world of secretive caverns and subterranean lakes brought to life by music and light shows.'Your first stop will be the Majorica shop and museum, where possibly the finest imitation pearls in the world are made. See digital displays explaining the manufacturing process before browsing pearl jewellery in the shop. Xisca says, ‘The designs are creative and exquisitely crafted, which is why Majorica jewellery is such a popular birthday or Christmas gift on the island.'It's then on to the weekly market in a country town. Poke around stalls stocked with everything from fragrant fruit and vegetables to aromatic herbs and pungent cheeses. The chance to try products such as Majorca's famous black pig pork is part of the experience. Spicy sobrassada, a spreadable paprika-cured sausage, makes for a great take-home souvenir – and helps local producers. Then, round off the day at Drach Caves. Get the lowdown from your guide on the formation of the system millions of years ago. There are four caves and a large lake, made all the more magical by the special lighting and a classical music concert from a quartet right in the very depths of the caves.

Majorca - Majorca Winery Visit with Wine & Local Food Tasting
This tour takes you to the heart of Majorca's wine country to sample the fruits of a small family-run winery. We'll head to the village of Santa Maria del Camí to visit Bodega Ramanyà for a guided tour, rounding off the experience with a typical Majorcan snack. Xisco, one of our local guides, says, ‘The family stands for rural Mallorca. They are very entertaining and will tell you all about the history of the island through their collection of farming artefacts.'During your journey to the grape-growing region of Binissalem, which is a Denomination of Origin, your expert guide will give you the lowdown on the island's wines. This terroir is situated near the foothills of the Tramuntana Mountains and, says Xisco, ‘the fertile earth and the sunny weather give the local wines a special taste'. By visiting a local family-run bodega, you'll be contributing to a fairer distribution of revenues – some of the biggest producers of Majorcan wine have vineyards nearby.As you tour the vineyards and winery, you'll learn about the grape varieties, their harvesting, ageing and bottling. You'll also be able to observe the family's collection of artefacts from yesteryear. These were used for the cultivation of the grapes and tilling of the land. Then, comes the best part – you'll sample three wines of your choice alongside a tapas-style snack made from locally sourced ingredients. Try breads, olive oils, cheeses, and more, all washed down with the cellar's own wines.

Gran Canaria - Gran Canaria food tour with distillery visit and local lunch
If the Canaries were a meal, Gran Canaria would be the main course – and the dessert. This exclusive tour will give you a flavour of the island and its cuisine while taking in its natural beauty. A rum factory tour, salt flats, a visit to Arucas town and a typical Canarian farm are all on the menu. Maria, one of our expert local guides, says, ‘This is my favourite tour – the driving is well spaced out and each stop is a looker. Plus, you get to sample some typical Canarian specialities in a fabulous setting.'First up is Salinas de Tenefé, where the salt flats are an important natural and cultural enclave where sea salt is produced as is has been for centuries. Next up is Arucas. Its colourful homes and flower-filled parks are overshadowed by the volcano-framed Church of St John the Baptist. You'll drop into the town's historic Arehucas distillery to sample some of its famed oak barrel-aged rum. Afterwards, we'll visit a family-owned restaurant for a traditional Canarian lunch made from locally sourced ingredients.But the best is yet to come. The highlight of the day is the award-winning Finca La Laja – a typical Canarian farm – located in a deep, vegetation-filled gorge near Agaete. In this wild and rugged setting, you'll get to taste local wines, cheese, Teror chorizo, Canarian ‘wrinkly' potatoes, cake and the farm's trademark coffee, which is grown here. You'll also learn how to prepare spicy ‘mojo' sauces.

Tenerife - Teide and Masca Tour from Southern Tenerife
This exclusive tour explores Tenerife's most dramatic inland areas. You'll venture in an eight-seater minivan through the otherworldly landscapes of Teide National Park, admire the panoramas from countless viewpoints and visit the ridge-top hamlet of Masca. Arianne, one of our expert local guides, say, ‘I love guiding this tour because it's an overdose of nature, focusing on the island's volcanology, from the past to the present.'Your adventure kicks off by heading south into Teide National Park – a UNESCO World Heritage Site – climbing through a dense pine forest. There's a pit stop at Chirche viewpoint, which often overlooks cloud-shrouded terrain below. The scenery around here is still bursting with greenery. But as we journey deeper into the national park, you'll encounter volcanic landscapes that could easily be on the moon, Venus or Mars. Desolate, rock-strewn badlands. A stop at Roques de Garcia allows you to take some pics near these iconic rock formations, with the volcano's cone in the background.Grab a last look at the lava-scarred landscapes at Poleos viewpoint before dropping into a family-run restaurant for a lunch made from seasonal and locally sourced ingredients. Rounding off the day is a visit to Masca – a hard-to-reach hamlet perched on a ridge in a deep volcanic gorge. Enjoy free time to poke around and take in the vistas.

What's the GSTC?
The Global Sustainable Tourism Council® (GSTC) establishes and manages global standards for sustainable travel and tourism, known as the GSTC Criteria. It's an independent and non-profit organization whose goal is to achieve best practices in sustainable tourism.

How our process works
Every experience is assessed across up to 11 areas, from the environment to human rights. The goal is to maximise the benefits and minimise the negative impacts to a destination within local constraints. All activity and tour operators, restaurants, venues, guides and transport providers included in the experience are evaluated. This process is the first of its kind to be applied to experiences on a global scale and has been approved by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC).
What makes our experiences 'Green & Fair'

Our assessment is based on the GSTC criteria for Tour Operators and its pillars. Section A: Demonstrate effective sustainable management Section B: Maximise social and economic benefits to the local community and minimise negative impacts Section C: Maximise benefits to cultural heritage and minimise negative impacts Section D: Maximise benefits to the environment and minimise negative impacts
Our system
We've used the GSTC criteria to create an evaluation process across 11 areas: Legal & Compliance, Human Resources, Communication, Healthy & Safety, Charity & Donations, Environmental, Products & Services, Operations, Animal Welfare, Human Rights and Child Protection.
Application
All elements of an experience, from food to transport and activity suppliers, have to fill out a questionnaire covering up to 11 areas mentioned previously. The experience is then assessed on its individual elements and as a whole. If it meets the necessary requirements it gets labeled as 'Green & Fair'.
Auditing
Our sustainability management system and process have been audited by the independent body Control Union. They also perform annual on-site evaluations in destinations to monitor ongoing compliance.
