And that’s exactly what this tour delivers – you’ll travel to the north of Zanzibar via the Kiwengwa Caves, the bustling Kinyasini village market, Nungwi fishing village and finally Kendwa Beach. You’ll kick off the day at Kiwengwa Caves in the Kiwengwa Pongwe Forest Reserve, whose rich biodiversity means you’ll encounter over 100 different species of plants. And with some luck, you’ll also spot groups of monkeys. Then, with your helmet and torch, you’ll head into the caves to learn about their use and the bats that reside there. You’ll make a quick stop at the vibrant Kinyasini village market for the chance to haggle for tropical fruits before reaching the small fishing village Nungwi where dhow boats are made.
