Discover the Southwestern Finland Agricultural Cooperative Building, designed and built in the early 20th century, that once housed a theatre, a hotel, a bank and where Alvar Aalto had his architectural office at some point.

Feast your eyes on the Tapani building that Aalto designed and called it the Standard Apartment House. He partnered up with Juho Tapani, whose company commissioned the design. Lastly the Turun Sanomat newspaper building which Alvar Aalto redesigned its new office and production building in 1927. Here you will also see some buildings by Turku-born Erik Bryggman that were built at the same period as Aalto's buildings. He also worked closely with Alvar Aalto during the breakthrough of modernism.
