Learn the story of the Apicella family which has been cultivating the land for generations and until the early 1970s producing excellent table wine. Then Giuseppe Apicella decided to create his own label and bottle the wine he produced. The first vintage to be marketed was 1977, about 3,000 bottles of Tramonti red wine, kicking off the Giuseppe Apicella winery and 30 years of success.
Begin your tour with a visit to the family's historic vineyard A' Scippata. Afterward, continue with a tour of the winery with an explanation of the production process, fermentation of red and white wines, stabilization, and aging. At the end enjoy the wine tasting accompanied by typical products from Tramontina (cheeses, cold cuts, biscuit bread).
