Drive south of the Adriatic Sea for a journey blending history, culture, and natural beauties.
Your first destination will be the Apollonia Archeological Park. You will take a walk around the ancient city dominated by Greco–Roman temples, olive groves, and panoramic views of the Adriatic Sea. At the heart of the site, you will visit the Byzantine church of St. Mary and the impressive museum of Apollonia.
The trip continues to the Narta Lagoon, a protected area lived by flamingos and pelicans. The tour will drive you all around the lagoon and salt marshes for birdwatching. Later, you will head to the coastal city of Vlore, where the Independence of Albania took place in 1912.
You will have plenty of time to visit the Old Town, the Independence Square, and the different religious sites - the Muradie Mosque, and “Kuzum Baba” Bektashi Temple - to learn more about religious co-existence in Albania. After the tour, you'll be driven back to your hotel.
