In the morning, your driver-guide will pick you up from your accommodation in Tbilisi from where the tour starts. At first, you will head East and make a short stop at Badiauri village, where you can watch the traditional Georgian process of bread baking in special ovens.
From Badiauri you continue on towards the Bodbe Monastery. It is considered one of the most important monasteries in Georgia, as the grave of St Nino, who brought Christianity to Georgia in the middle of the 4th Century, lies here.
At last, you will visit the small, charming city of Sighnaghi, that promises stunning views of the great Caucasus Mountains and of the River Alazani Valley. Here you will find picturesque landscapes, pastel houses and narrow, cobblestone streets. You can climb the watchtowers to get a magnificent view. At this stop, you will also enjoy a Georgian wine tasting.
Due to your interest, your our driver-guide is happy to recommend places for lunch and photo stops!
