Cycle on the highest active volcano in Europe during this full-day trip departing from Taormina or Giardini Naxos. Be ready to get across the wood tracks and go uphill passing next to several lava flows stratified over the years on the northern side of Etna.
Along the way, if possible, there will be a fascinating stop to visit one of the most beautiful lava flow caves of the whole mountain. The lunar landscape that was left behind is sure to take your breath away, so have your camera ready. The ascent ends by reaching the refuge, where you can relax in the shade of a majestic group of trees, before continuing the route downhill.
No day trip in Sicily is complete without tasting local products, so during this thrilling e-bike tour there will also be time for a typical Sicilian lunch, enjoying a well-deserved break after cycling along the volcano. There will also be the chance to spend about 1 hour of free time on your own around the area, before going back to Taormina.
