Discover the temples of Angkor Complex and enjoy the beautiful sunset at the Pre Rup Temple.
Begin your visit at the South Gate of Angkor Thom, where statues of the gods of good and evil line the entrance. The next stop is the Bayon, a temple richly decorated with smiling faces gracing its towers. Admire the impressive bas-reliefs depicting daily life and the great battles fought between the Khmers and the ancient Thais.
Pass by the Phimeanakas, shaped like a pyramid with two small lakes at the back. Walk up to the top of the temple for impressive views of the Angkor complex. Then take a short drive to Ta Prohm, one of Cambodia's most beloved temples, which is in the same condition as it was found. The combination of large trees sprouting from the ruins and the surrounding jungle gives the temple a truly magical atmosphere. Relax and have lunch at a local restaurant. Spend the rest of the afternoon exploring the magnificent Angkor Wat, the largest religious monument in the world and the best-preserved temple in the complex. Admire the grandeur of its architecture and the extensive decoration of bas-relief friezes.
End the day admiring the sunset view over the jungle from the top of Pre Rup Temple before returning to Siem Reap.
