In this region, there are 11 different cultural influences in 2 categories: those who lived here (Romanians, Saxons, Hungarians, Armenians, Hebrews and Roma), and influences of surrounding, regional or historical powers and authorities (Austrian, Turkish, Russian, French and Greek).
Starting from the Big Square (Piata Mare) and continuing on the old streets of the city you will see the main attractions of the city, like Small Square with the "Eyes of the City", The Evangelical Church, The Famous Liars' Bridge, The Orthodox Cathedral of Sibiu and many more.
Your tour will then bring you to the local market where vendors from the nearby villages bring fresh products every day and of course, taste some.
