A sleigh ride to Linnansaari is suitable for the whole family!
Hop into our cozy sleigh pulled by a snowmobile and travel over a frozen lake to the main island of Linnansaari National Park. In the sleigh, you can enjoy the wintery white scenery while the guide takes you deep into Lakeland. On Linnansaari island you can hike on the marked snowshoe tracks, visit the museum croft, have an outdoor picnic by an open fire, and go tour skating or ice fishing. All activity gear can be rented from the reception in Oravi where you start the sleigh ride. We especially recommend snowshoeing on the marked routes!
On weekends you can visit the cafe on the island for pancakes and coffee (open during winter peak season). You can also take your own picnic or buy a picnic basket as an extra service. There is firewood and a fireplace on the island.
In case we have to cancel the tour due to snow/ ice conditions, there is 100% refund for the ticket or you can use it for another activity.
A sleigh ride from Oravi to Linnansaari National Parks main island (and back to Oravi if you have chosen the ride both ways)
