The beautifully crafted St. Giles Church is situated in the heart of Old Town and is set amongst narrow streets and quaint buildings in this enchanting area of Prague. Gothic on the outside and Baroque within, St. Giles is a grand church, its high ceilings adorned with ornate frescos.
The magnificent organ at St. Giles has rare historical value. With its 3500 reed pipes, and F.I. Weise. Baroque wood carvings, it is considered not only the oldest but also one of the most important organs in the country.
Listen to the orchestra under the leadership of Jakub Janský, the violin soloist, since 1996. Enjoy their very wide and colorful repertoire, while you admire the marvelous interior of this historical location.
