Come along to this unique surfing, coasteering and wild camping weekend in Newquay and explore the secluded Cornish woodlands and coast. From learning to surf on Fistral Beach to taking a deepwater cliff jump during your coasteering session, throwing axes and cooking up a storm over an open fire, this weekend is packed with excitement and adventure. Sleep under the stars in a luxury bell tent or kick back in a hammock for a true outdoor experience with family or friends as you get a slice of the Cornish outdoors.
You'll kick off your weekend as you grab your wetsuit and surfboard and head off to your first surf lesson of the weekend. Whether you're an experienced pro or it's your first time hitting the waves, your surf coaches will be on hand to offer advice and guide you through your first surf lesson. You'll have plenty of time between activities to grab some lunch, take a stroll around Newquay's many surf shops or head back to base and hang out.
After lunch, it's time to try coasteering. Don't worry if you aren't confident in the sea or haven't tried coasteering before, your knowledgeable guide will explain and demonstrate all the skills you need to have a fantastic time. Then you'll head back to the wild campsite, a lovingly crafted space in the very heart of Cornwall. You'll have time to settle into your shared bell tent before trying your hand at axe throwing, firefighting skills and much more. Settle around the campfire to roast marshmallows, tell stories and watch the stars above you.
After breakfast, it's time to wave goodbye to the wild camp and head back to Newquay, jump into a wetsuit and hit the Cornish waves one last time. Your second surf lesson will build on the previous days experience and today is all about having fun in the surf! After a general overview of surf conditions, recapping the fundamentals, it's straight into the ocean to make the most of your time in the sea. Your coaches will as always be on hand to give you personal feedback and goals to aim for while you're surfing.
