Da Vinci was not only a talented artist but also a revolutionary engineer, inventing machines that were extraordinarily advanced for the time in which they were designed. The exhibition features over 200 interactive machines and physical models never before reconstructed, such as the 'Mechanical Lion', the 'Mechanical Submarine' and the 'Flying Machine of Milan'.
This exhibition is a truly interactive 3D experience: the digital restoration of The Last Supper, Leonardo's masterpiece, is noteworthy, allowing the lost colours of the artist's famous wall painting in the former refectory of Santa Maria delle Grazie to be restored forever.
