This tour ticks off Europe's tallest active volcano and one of Sicily's top-rated towns. You'll be picked up from the port by a coach which will take you to the lofty heights of Mount Etna. Once you're there you'll walk across the rocky landscape to the Silvestri Craters of Mount Etna - a couple of craters that were created as a result of an eruption back in 1892. You'll have some free time to walk around the lunar-like landscape before setting off on your trip to Taormina. Once you've arrived your guide will be on hand to show you around the town's top sights. Highlights include a visit to the well-preserved Greek amphitheatre and a walk past the Gothic Corvaja Palace. Once the walking tour is over you'll have some spare time for souvenir shopping before your return journey to the port.
