Things to do in Maun: Tour and activities

Located in Botswana, Maun is the capital of the unusual Okavango Delta. It was founded in 1915 and with approximately 30,000 inhabitants. The City is located to the southeast of this delta, outside the flood zone.

Maun has been converted into a logistics center for services in the area. It has an airport that facilitates nature and wildlife tourism. You can book helicopter tours and 4x4 vehicles to explore the area in any way you can imagine.

As a curiosity and in contrast to the development of the city, you can still find throughout the city a multitude of donkeys and goats that are used as a means of transport for the locals.
