It's practically impossible not to have heard Neil Diamond's Red red wine or their version of Elvis Presley's Can't help falling in love. More than four decades ago UB40 was born in Birmingham (England), a multicultural band that despite its changes of formation, disputes and the sad loss of some of its members has kept alive a project that is already a legend. A key part of the vital soundtrack of several generations, they will relive their greatest hits live this summer in Es Jardí in Mallorca.
Formed in 1978 by childhood friends from working-class backgrounds, the group was discovered by Chrissie Hynde, who invited them to open for the Pretenders on their '79-80 tour... and the rest is history. Their fusion of reggae and pop (a rich influence due to their Jamaican, English, Welsh, Scottish and Yemeni roots) has resulted in over 50 chart-topping singles in the UK and worldwide success, with over 100 million records sold. Don't miss the chance to dance all night long with their greatest hits.
