Due to a very restrictive lighting policy across the island, outdoor lights on La Palma are well shielded and the night-time sky is dark. For the real show you have to leave the coastline and drive up to the mountains to one of the many astronomical view points in La Palma.You'll drive to the designated point, which is one of the best places for stargazing. After making the most of 90 minutes of astronomical observation, you'll have time to take some night photos.

You'll sail northwards past volcanic cliffs with drops of more than 200 metres. We'll stop at the Bonita Cave – a large grotto with two mouths. Centuries ago, locals would hide here from pirates.
