Look forward to a 1-hour guided tour in the famous Speicherstadt and Hafencity of Hamburg!
The Speicherstadt is a World Heritage Site and the largest historic warehouse complex in Europe. Millions of tons of cocoa and coffee, fine carpets, expensive spices and all kinds of general cargo were stored here, but also refined and sorted. This charming area is now home to a large number of museums and cafés and is crisscrossed by canals on which the barge pushers once brought the goods.
The Hafencity, a fascinating interplay between "tradition and modernity", is being built on former harbor areas. The Hafencity also includes the Elbphilharmonie, a new landmark in Hamburg and wonderful piece of architecture.
You will also explore the Sandtorkai, Dallmannkai and Kaiserkai, the Magellan- and Marco Polo Terraces, as well as the traditional ship harbor.
