Discover the most traditional and authentic neighborhoods of Granada with this 2-hours tour that will take you through the neighborhoods of Albaicín and Sacromonte.
The tour will start with a walk through one of the most beautiful streets of the world, La Carrera del Darro, which leads to the famous Paseo de los Tristes. Walking through the steep, narrow labyrinth streets of the Albaicín, you'll feel like the people who lived in Granada in the 11th century, when the city was one of the most important centers of Al-Andalus. The walk will then reach the heart of this neighborhood, the famous viewpoint Mirador de San Nicolas right in time to see the sunset.
Little by little, you'll cross the walls of the medieval city to enter the Sacromonte neighborhood, known for its caves, where settlements of gypsy groups were established after the Castilian conquest. Nowadays, Sacromonte has a strong connection with flamenco, since the caves were converted to that end by the Gypsy community.
The tour will end in the downtown Granada, in Plaza Santa Ana.
