Take in the spirit of youth as you walk along the peaceful streets of Goettingen, a lovely university town with a pleasing atmosphere of serenity.
Start your tour at the Goose Girl Fountain and make your way to the Bismarck Cottage. Admire The Pauliner Church, which now serves as a university library. Pass the University Art Collection in the Auditorium, where masterpieces of Rembrandt and Botticelli are exhibited.
The route then takes you to the Old Botanical Garden, a wonderful place to relax before optionally visiting the rotating exhibits of the Goettingen City Museum. Finally, walk out to the Börner Quarter to see the thought-provoking sculpture eradicated there.
