Gaspar

Gaspar is a Brazilian city in the state of Santa Catarina. The city is famous for its natural sights, as it is located in the middle of a region full of natural and artificial water parks, the most important being the Cascata Carolina Water Park, thanks to which, in the summer, the city receives more than 300,000 nature-loving tourists.

The city’s origins, marked by strong German colonization, influenced profusely its cultural foundation: two important cultural symbols of the city are the Mixed Choir Santa Cecília and the Musical Club São Pedro, which promote the teaching and improvement of music in Gaspar as well as in the resto of the region.
