Connemara National Park offers safe and easy walking trails that allow the whole family to participate and also includes some challenging tracks and trails specifically for those who are serious about walking. The park has a famtastic playground for smaller children, which features a variety of wooden equipment including see-saws, slides, chin-up bars, tunnels, and playhouses and there are picnic tables with stunning views of Diamond Hill.
You'll kick off you day travelling by public transport to Letterfrack and then the park where you'll enjoy an interactive exhibition, chat to the friendly staff and start your adventure at the visitor centre. You'll tuck into lunch at the tea room, explore the park and even have time for a drink at one of the pubs in the local village before making your way back to Galway City.
