Chengdu Giant Panda Research and Breeding Center, also known as Panda Base, is home to nearly 50 giant pandas and red pandas. Follow your local guide and spend half a day to explore the Panda Base, see lovely furry giant pandas and very cute baby pandas. Hotel pickup and drop off the private guide and air-conditioned car/van, entrance fee are all included. As both adult and baby Pandas are at their most active during feeding time in the morning. Your tour guide will pick you up from Chengdu downtown hotel and escort you to the Giant Panda Research and Breeding Center directly. The Panda Base has been created and imitated the natural habitat in order that Giant Pandas might have the best possible environment for rearing and breeding. Giant Pandas and other rare animals are fed and bred there throughout the year. Verdant bamboo, bright flowers, fresh air and a natural hill scene are merged ingeniously at the base. There you will see lovely giant pandas eating and playing with each other, and you may also have a chance to see the very cute baby pandas. Then watch a 20-minute video to learn about giant panda research and breeding in a small theater.
