Things to do in Cabarete

Located in the Dominican Republic in the Puerto Plata province, Cabarete is home to many beautiful beaches and noted for its tourism. It is conveniently near to the Puerto Plata airport. Cabarete is known for its beaches and one of them is Cabarete Bay, which has hosted many professional kitesurfing competitions. To the west of Cabarete Bay and also great for kite surfing is the aptly named Kite Beach. This beach features a reef break that is visited by many stand up paddle surfers. Another beach to check out is Playa Encuentro, also west of Cabarete Bay with one of the most favorable surfing conditions in the Caribbean. Cabarete may be a small beach village but its charm and ambiance with put you under a spell and surely make you want to extend your vacation.
