The Hungarian Parliament is the third largest parliament building of the world and one of the most recognized landmarks of Hungary. A guide will take you around the gigantic halls of the House of Parliament while sharing the secrets of its past. You will even have a chance to explore the hall of the National Assembly and to lay your eyes on the holiest relics of Hungarian history, the Holy Crown and the crowning jewels.

Following the Parliament tour, you will explore the world’s oldest remaining monitor ship right next to the House of Parliament: the Lajta Monitor Museum Ship. This once deadly metal giant was built in 1871 and has gone through some breathtaking adventures back in its days. Get to know its story!

Get comfortable after the historical ventures and familiarize yourself with the panoramic side of Budapest on a scenic river cruise on the Danube. Enjoy a complimentary bowl of tasty Goulash Soup or Chicken Paprikash on board.

Meet your guide for the Parliament tour at the Parliament Visitor Center on the Northern side of Kossuth Lajos Square.The Warship Museum is located right outside the Parliament.The Danube Cruise starts from Akadémia 3 port. From the Parliament tour, a hostess will show you the way to the ship (approx 5 minutes of walk). The Danube cruise starts at 2.00pm.You can order a pick-up for every package, which includes the transfer from your hotel to the Parliament. Please note, there is no drop off available for either package! If you select this option, please arrange the pick-up with the local tour provider after your booking confirmation.

What to remember

Following booking, you will receive a confirmation PDF from Hungaria Koncert via email (in the Hungarian language). This will be your ticket to the Parliament, make sure to bring a printed copy of it with you. You can print your ticket at the info desk 15 minutes prior to the tour
The program cannot be rescheduled, if you can not attend or miss the starting time, no refund will be issued. This also applies for the pick-up option.
You may enter the building following a security check. Larger bags, packages
and objects capable of causing injury are strictly prohibited
The Parliament may cancel the tour due to Parliament programs and state protocol events
You may not remain inside the Parliament following your guided visit due to security reasons
A ticket cannot be refunded or rescheduled
As a complimentary bonus to your ticket, you will receive free passes to two additional historic Danube ships as well with their own stunning exhibitions inside: the Kossuth Museum ship and the Gróf Széchenyi Event Boat
The Gróf Széchenyi is an operating event boat and it is only available for visits when not in service (usually between 10.00am-1.45pm daily)
