Despite its small size Billund is a popular destination, with its exciting family-oriented attractions like Billund Legoland. Opened in 1968, it was the first Lego theme park to be created and the birthplace of the now-famous plastic bricks!
If you're looking for a bit more of an adrenaline-filled adventure head to Lalandia, the largest water park and activity centre in Scandinavia. Other activities include mini-golf, bowling, ice skating and a climbing wall.
A visit to the Givskud zoo offers the opportunity to see lots of animals such as lions and gorillas or take a stroll along the Grinstred Stream where the path is lined with interesting sculptures. Nearby Grinsted Lake has plenty of hiking, cycling and running routes for those looking to be a bit more active. This international city really does have something for everyone!
