Join your tour guides and enjoy the best of the Bizkaia region. First of all, you'll make the hike to the hermitage of San Juan de Gaztelugatxe, 241 steps of rock, sea, and wind that will take you to enjoy spectacular views. After returning to the starting point and taking a well-deserved rest, you'll go to the charming fishing village of Mundaka, on the west bank of the Urdaibai River estuary, where you can see how the modernity of surfers mixes with the tradition of fishermen.
Finally, you're going to take a deep dive into the heart of Basque history by visiting the legendary Gernika tree and the tragic bombing of the village during the Spanish Civil War. Picasso's Gernika portrayal will be visited along the way. The tour is done in bilingual (English and Spanish), so your guide will speak both languages simultaneously.
