Your walk begins in front of the Futurium where you will have a view of the Chancellery. From here you will first discover the modern parliament buildings on the banks of the Spree River - the former borderline. This quarter is architecturally one of the absolute highlights of Berlin. Learn about the political everyday life of the Berlin Republic and in addition to the impressive buildings (Marie-Elisabeth-Lüders-Haus, Paul-Löbe-Haus and Reichstagspräsidentenpalais), you will be especially surprised by the monuments, works of art and the Berlin Wall: German-German history in the middle of Berlin.
Your guide will leave you at the security check in front of the Reichstag building where the visitor service of the German Bundestag will be waiting for you (please register in writing beforehand). You will then be guided to the plenary hall and experience an informative lecture (free of charge).
Afterward, you can visit the dome and the roof terrace of the Reichstag at your own pace. From the dome you have a good view of the following Berlin sights: Potsdamer Platz with Sony Center and Bahntower, dome towers Gendarmenmarkt, Brandenburg Gate, Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church and City West, Gasometer and City Hall Tower Schöneberg, Victory Column and Teufelsberg, Pregnant Oyster and Chancellery, Central Station and Charite Building, dome New Synagogue and St. Sophia's Church, Alexanderplatz with TV Tower, dome from the Berlin Cathedral, Berlin City Hall and much more.
