Visit the Palacio de Gaudí at your own pace and discover all areas of this wonderful palace created by Antoni Gaudí.
In the year 1886 a fire destroyed the old episcopal residence and the Astorga Bishop and Juan Bautista Grau Vallespinó commissioned Antonio Gaudí to build the new palace. In 1889, the genius began the works, but after the death of the bishop, he left the project. It was García Guereta who continued the construction finishing it in 1913.
The palace never came to be used as an episcopal residence and since 1964 became the headquarter of the Museo de los Caminos, dedicated to the Way of Santiago.
