Food and wine - what better way to experience a region? Especially when it comes to the exceptional produce of the Marche region. You can savour these during a visit to a renowned winery nestled in the heart of the Piceno area. A young winemaker and agronomist will guide you through their vineyard and its bountiful "fruits."
You'll be greeted by the owner himself, who will lead you on an exploration of this wine-making reality in the Marche. Once all participants have arrived, your journey begins outdoors with a sweeping view of the vineyard. Here, your guide will share the story of the winery, established with a vision to enhance and innovate the local area, partly through organic methods employed since the 1980s. Next, you'll venture inside for a tour of the winery. You'll explore the room dedicated to vinification, delving into the grape processing techniques, before reaching the barrel cellar where the wine matures.
The tour then takes you to the tasting room, where a prepared table awaits. Your guide will serve three signature glasses of wine, each expertly described: an Offida Pecorino DEOCG, a Marche Sangiovese IGT and a Marche Rosato IGT. These will be paired with a generous selection of typical Marche products including cured meats, cheeses and other local delicacies. It's a chance to raise a glass in good company, toasting to your visit and to the Marche region!
