The new winery in Laguardia, belonging to Viña Real, is a place where the entire wine production process unfolds - from the arrival of the grapes to the dispatch of the bottled wine. The heart of this winery lies in the Rioja Alavesa grapes. Its name was inspired by its proximity to the old Camino Real.
Anchored in the same land and integrated into the Cerro de la Mesa, stands a monumental vat spanning approximately 30,000 meters. This is none other than the Viña Real building, an iconic design since 2004 that seamlessly blends with the orography of La Rioja. This architectural masterpiece not only merges with the landscape but also embodies it within its construction.
This winery is more than just a production site; it's a testament to the rich history and tradition of wine-making in La Rioja, encapsulating the essence of the region in every bottle that leaves its premises.
