And after spending the night in the Escambray Mountains, you'll follow a highland trail and see the Tren Blindado Museum.First up is Cienfuegos for a guided tour of this elegant seaside city, known as the ‘Pearl of the South'. See the most impressive buildings, including Palacio de Valle – a grand seafront hotel stuck in an early-20th century timewarp. Then, visit Trinidad, a city with a timelessness that has earned it UNESCO World Heritage Site status. Day one ends with a stay in Topes de Collantes Natural Park.
