Get back to nature with a trip into the hills of Skopelos. Journeying through pine forests, vineyards, olive groves and orchards, you'll discover the untouched beauty of this tiny Aegean island.
Skopelos may be small but she packs a punch in the natural beauty stakes. It all kicks off in the Pirgos area. Rugged, rural and not on the tourist trail, you'll take a gentle hike through pretty scenes of pine forest and orchards of plum and almond trees. Take a well-earned rest at the remote Panagitsa church and admire wow-factor panoramas across the sea towards Mount Pelion and northern Greece.
Walk the gentle slopes down towards the coast and you'll arrive at Panormos beach. As our final stop, there's time for lunch in one of the tavernas, a snooze on the sand or a refreshing dip in the sea. All in all, it's a day of lush landscapes, seafront scenery and exceptional nature.
