Get a taste of kayaking on the Verde River during your visit to Sedona! This self-guided river trip is perfect for first-time boaters or those with limited amounts of time.

Your kayaking adventure will begin and end at Alcantara Vineyards. There will be a 15-minute shuttle ride taking you from the parking area to where your boats and the Verde River awaits. Once you arrive at the river, you'll have approximately 2 hours on the water. Prepare for a class 1 & 2 river trip with a dozen fun sporty little rapids.

What to remember

Must be age 3+ to participate. Children ages 3-9 must be accompanied by an adult in a tandem kayak
Select from adult single kayaks, tandem kayaks (for an adult and child), and spuddy kayaks (smaller boats perfect for young and first-time paddlers)
There is a minimum purchase of 2 guests. The minimum participant number for a trip to embark is 4. Trips with less than 4 participants are subject to no-cost rescheduling
You will spend approximately 2 to 2.5 hours on the water depending on river conditions. The entire adventure, including the roundtrip shuttle ride, lasts approximately 3 hours
