Book now to experience snorkelling with sharks in Australia's largest single aquarium at AQWA, located at Hillarys Boat Harbour, overlooking the Indian ocean. Plunge into the beautiful world of AQWA’s shipwreck coast aquarium and come face to fin with sharks, stingrays and hundreds of stunning fish.

You’ll enter the three million litre shipwreck coast and be led on an amazing, underwater tour by one of the PADI qualified Divemasters. This is your chance to have a close encounter with seven different species of sharks, loggerhead turtles, the world’s largest stingrays and schools of Western Australia’s most prized and precious fish, like dhufish, pink snapper, kingfish, trevally and more.

You'll leave this experience being more aware of their beauty and how they interact as they swim around you. Don't miss the chance to snorkel and witness the diverse marine life in this underwater world.

What to remember

The minimum age to participate is 14 years old and all participants must be confident swimmers and snorkellers
There is a maximum number of four people for this experience and this experience is not suitable for pregnant women or people with limited mobility
No refunds available for booking changes or cancellations on the booked day, or no-shows
Participants must have snorkelled before and be capable of using a mask, snorkel and fins. No snorkelling instruction is given in this activity
All participants of the Snorkel with Sharks experience must sign an indemnity agreement prior to activity
All participants must be in good health and have no cardiovascular disease, asthma or epilepsy
Snorkellers under the age of 18 must have written consent from a parent/guardian to be witnessed by AQWA on the day of the activity
Prescription glasses cannot be worn during adventure, please wear contact lenses or your own prescription mask if required
Photography: - Small, water-proof cameras are permitted for use during the experience. However participants must always follow the instructions of their Divemaster. No flash photography is permitted - Images and footage taken is for personal use only and cannot be used for commercial purposes without express prior written permission from AQWA
AQWA reserves the right to refuse entry to the program if the above requirements are not met by the participant. AQWA's Divemasters have the right to refuse entry to the program if they assess a participant is unfit or not competent to swim and snorkel
AQWA reserves the right to cancel, amend or re-schedule an Adventure activity without notice -If an AQWA Adventure is cancelled by AQWA the participants will be offered an alternative day/time or a refund for cost of the experience only
