Get ready to discover the culture of Laos from a different point of view! On this cycling tour, you'll pass through different areas of Luang Prabang to discover the local handicrafts and learn more about the traditional methods of pottery making.
Join your local guide and start your 30-minute cycling out of town, crossing the waters of the Mekong River to Ban Chan village, well-known because of the pottery tradition. On every corner, you'll see family workshops where experienced craftsmen make bricks, tiles, pots, and bowls. Don't miss the chance to learn more about the traditional methods used to create the workshops. When the ovens have reached the desired temperature, clay items are put on fire, and, once fired, these items are then left to settle several days below ground.
Before heading back to Kuang Prabang you'll also pass through the Chompet Temple, a collection of ancient ruins nestled in the hillside where you'll enjoy a walk with your local guide.
