After departing from London in the morning, you will arrive at Oxenholme station where you'll meet your tour guide and be taken to the vehicle that will be your transport for the rest of the day. Let the adventure begin!
Your first stop will be Windermere, England's largest lake. Here, you'll have the opportunity to enjoy a lake cruise. where you'll be spoilt for choice with panoramic views of the Lakeland Mountains. Don't forget your camera. You'll then be driven across winding country roads until you arrive at the charming village of Hawkshead. With its cute cottages, you'll get to understand why this was a beloved place of Beatrix Potter and Wordsworth himself.
Before making your way back to Windermere you'll take a photo stop at Tarn Hows. Breathe in the fresh country air and get a glance of Yew Tree Farm - where Miss Potter was filmed. For the finale of the tour, enjoy a deliciously British cream tea at Beatrix Potter’s family home, Lindeth Howe. Tuck into fresh clotted cream, jam and scones in this beautiful setting.
After a day exploring all the Lake District has to offer, your guide will escort you back to the train station for your return journey back to London.
