This tour includes a wonderful visit to Hoover Dam on our Highlights/Exterior tour of the most spectacular locations, followed by 3 hours at the Grand Canyon West Rim on the Hualapai Indian Reservation. Hoover Dam is the highest structure of its kind in the world, and a spectacular sight for its enormous dimensions, complex design and construction as well as it creates one of the worlds largest man-made lakes, Lake Mead. You'll walk the breathtaking Top of the Dam, with views of Lake Mead, as well as the eastern edge of the chasm in Arizona where you'll experience more fabulous views of the dam. When on top of the dam there are wonderful photo ops of the new Hoover Dam Bridge. As a bonus, you'll stop at a local park where herds of Big Horn Sheep often come down from the surrounding mountains to graze.
Your journey takes you across the striking High Desert of Arizona where we visit the incredible 900-year-old Joshua Tree Forest, Eagle Point & Guano Point (with 3 hours to explore the rim of the Grand Canyon).
