Hear ceramic handicraft trading is not only a booming trend but helping to keep the traditional crafts alive. Then, witness how the village is surrounded by fertile farmland and filled with wall-to-wall shops selling ancient and modern ceramics.
Next, you'll have a chance to chat with the local artisans at work or sit behind a potter’s wheel to see how they create ceramic vases and other masterpieces in their kilns. Admire how artisans, in order to make products with different shapes, must perform many processes such as choosing clays, drawing, dealing with and mixing additives, forming shapes, heating, and more to get to the finished products.
