Why you’ll love this…
  • Experience the hidden parts of Gran Canaria
  • Get to know the microclimate of the Canary islands
  • See the numerous waterfalls and the flora of this area
  • Hike for 4 hours with a local mountain guide
What to expect

This is an excellent opportunity for mountain lovers to hike on the route that best shows the microclimate of the island.

Your guide will pick you up at your hotel and you'll travel on a mini-bus for an hour to see the landscapes of the island full of wild ravines and curvy mountain roads.

You'll learn about the difference between the dry southern coast and the northern parts of the island, which are more varied due to their climate conditions. Admire the numerous picturesque waterfalls and the flora, which is unseen in other parts of the island. You'll discover many endemic species of plants and lizards on sunny days.

After hiking, you'll go to a local bar where you can feel the typical Canarian atmosphere and try local dishes such as papas arrugadas, meat dishes, grilled fish or vegetarian meals.
