You leave Glasgow and start your journey by visiting Glengoyne, a distillery boasting a lovely location and a unique way of distilling whisky. Operating since 1833, they've had enough time to perfect their methods. On your tour, you get introduced to the simple but magical process of turning barley, water, and yeast into whisky.
Then, at the picturesque village of Balloch, you'll be able to ask for advice on lunch and indulge. Plus, you can walk around the centre at your own pace and take photos of the quaint cottages, small beach, and view of Ben Lomond.
After a good dose of mountain air, lochs, and forests, you'll travel back to Glasgow. At its Clydeside Whisky Distillery, with your entrance ticket, you'll marvel as you witness the production of dedicated single malt whisky as it's distilled from grain to glass.
