After being picked up from your hotel in El Calafate, you will be greeted at Estancia 25 de Mayo with fried cakes (you can bring your own mate as well) while you hear the history of the estancia, and how local activities were carried out at the beginning of the 20th century. There will be a demonstration of the typical Patagonian activity of herding sheep with dogs.
The excursion continues with a walk around the ranch and next to the Calafate Stream while visiting the old shearing shed and the corrals. There you will see a demonstration of sheep shearing with scissors and visit the organic garden that produces part of the vegetables that are used in the ranch's barbecue for dinner.
After the tour of the ranch, dinner is offered at the restaurant "El Quincho". Starter: empanada criolla and an appetizer; main course: grilled Patagonian lamb with chorizo, black pudding and salad from the organic garden; the dessert is to your choice. While you dine, you will enjoy a show with traditional Argentinian dances.
