Enjoy a full-day tour from Catania to discover three remarkable Sicilian locations and learn more about their importance.
You'll begin your experience visiting the seaside village of Giardini Naxos, the first Greek colony in Sicily, founded in 734 BC. After enjoying a pleasant stroll along the town's promenade, you'll head towards Castelmola, where you'll admire the ruins of the Norman walls and Piazza Duomo, with its church rebuilt between 1934 and 1935 on the existing cathedral, and dedicated to St. Nicholas of Bari. You'll then reach Taormina to enjoy some free time discovering Corso Umberto's exclusive shops and characteristic craft stores. Admire some of the city's most iconic sites, like Palazzo Corvaja, the Greek Theatre, Badia Vecchia and Palazzo Duchi di Santo Stefano.
Lastly, you'll stop for a refreshing swim at the Isola Bella natural reserve, also known as the "pearl of the Ionian". From here, you'll admire the spectacular view of the bay that houses the famous Grotta Azzurra and Capo Taormina, protected by the high walls of Capo Sant'Andrea's promontory.
