During this small-group day trip, you'll depart from Bari to see three of the most beautiful towns in Puglia. You'll stroll around the enchanted historic center of Alberobello – one of the most famous UNESCO sites of the region. Then, you'll tour Monopoli, a unique town located on the south coast of Bari, and enjoy the incredible panorama and pristine waters of Polignano a Mare.
First, you'll be taken to Alberobello, where you can admire the best-preserved examples of trulli, the prehistoric dry-stone buildings typical of the Itria Valley. Next, you'll visit Monopoli and its picturesque ancient old district. The old town of Monopoli is protected by a high wall still equipped with cannons and a sixteenth-century castle, which offers unforgettable views of the narrow streets scented with the sea breeze. This city has the soul of a real fishing village, silent and peaceful during the day, but one of the liveliest stops for the Apulian nightlife in the evening.
Your last stop will be the small town of Polignano a Mare. Perched on a high white cliff overlooking the sea, this village offers a maze of alleys that open on balconies 30 meters above sea level. It's the capital of Apulian artisan ice cream and the birthplace of Domenico Modugno, whose statue stands out on the seafront of the town. Theater of several international film sets, it's one of the most famous tourist destinations for its crystal-clear waters.
