The inside story
The Fundació Antoni Tàpies is a cultural center and museum, located in the old publishing house Simon i Montaner in the district of Eixample in Barcelona. It is dedicated mainly to the life and works of the painter Antoni Tàpies. The Fundació was created in 1984 by the artist Antoni Tàpies to promote the study and knowledge of modern and contemporary art.
The Foundation has the most complete collection of works by the Catalan artist. In addition to his works, the Fundació Antoni Tapies dedicated to changing exhibitions in various other artists.
