Eleusis is the ancient city with the most interesting secrets of humanity, the Eleusinian mysteries. It is still not known what they did at the mysteries, but its known that they had the answer to the universal question: "what happens after death". At the Eleusis archaeological site and museum, you'll see the path that Persephone took to the underworld and all the places the “Abduction of Persephone” myth describes.
On your way to Epidaurus, you'll stop to see the Corinth canal built in the 1890s that connects the central Mediterranean Sea to the Aegean Sea. Once in Epidaurus you will have time to swim, take underwater photos and have lunch in a traditional restaurant by the sea. Then, you will visit the ancient Epidaurus theater and the temple of Asclepius, the first medical center for psychotherapy, rejuvenation and mental wellness. Your trip will end at the Plato’s Academy in Athens, where you will revisit Plato's routes.
