The Algarve's rocky coastline, interspersed with golden sandy beaches, is best appreciated from the deck of a boat. This cruise takes in the beautiful stretch of coast between Lagos and Sagres. As well as amazing scenery to enjoy, there's time for a dip in the enticing Atlantic waters.
After sailing out of Lagos in the late morning, you'll round the famous Ponte da Piedade rock formations. The grottoes, jagged stacks and sea arches are one of the Algarve's most famous natural attractions. And if the weather permits, you can hop onto a rowboat and explore the grottoes. After Ponte da Piedade, the coastline becomes ever less developed – there are just a handful of towns breaking up a landscape of remote beaches and cliffs.
You'll venture as far as Sagres – continental Europe's most south-westerly town. What's more, a tasty lunch will be served on board. Rounding off the trip, you'll have the opportunity to swim off the boat in the beautifully clear ocean.
