This exclusive tour visits two of the Costa Brava's gems in just one day. You'll begin among the sweet scents of more than 4,000 plants at the Marimurtra Botanical Gardens. Your trip kicks off at Marimurtra Botanical Gardens, whose mind-boggling array of plants rivals its picture-perfect setting atop the cliff. What's more, you'll have the added bonus of jumping the queues and visiting early in the morning before the crowds arrive. Enjoy expansive views over the coast while your expert local guide gives you insights into the exotic flora. The cypress-fringed stroll down to a viewpoint overlooking a cove and rocky headland is the stuff of dreams.
Next up is the medieval city of Girona, where you'll have a snapshot of its 2,000-year-old history on a guided tour around the walled Old Quarter. Later, enjoy some free time to explore at your own pace – maybe you'll be tempted to see more of El Call, the well-preserved former Jewish quarter. Or stroll over to the pastel-coloured houses perched above the River Onyar or visit the cathedral – which served as the Great Sept of Baelor in Game of Thrones.
