Cosa aspettarsi

L'Anatolia interna e le montagne del Tauro sono un paradiso per gli amanti della vita all'aria aperta. Questo tour di un'intera giornata comprende un safari in 4x4 con guida autonoma, una passeggiata nel Canyon delle Aquile, oltre a visite alla "Cappadocia verde" e all'antica Selge.

Per prima cosa, vi recherete a Beskonak per imparare a guidare il vostro fuoristrada climatizzato. Dopo una rapida prova, sarete pronti a percorrere piste e sentieri nelle profondità del Canyon delle Aquile. Prima di percorrere il confine del Parco nazionale di Koprulu e fermarvi nei punti di osservazione lungo il percorso, potrete immergervi nella natura con una passeggiata in questo luogo idilliaco.

Dopo un pranzo abbondante, esplorerete le rovine dell'antica Selge e il suo anfiteatro, visiterete le vicine formazioni rocciose ricoperte di vegetazione - conosciute dai locali come "Cappadocia verde" - e farete una sosta all'antico ponte di Oluk. In estate, è possibile anche fare un breve rafting lungo il fiume Euromedon.

You'll need to rise and shine early to catch this ride, but the wow-worthy views of the ancient city of Aspendos are worth the early wake-up call. As your pilot expertly coaxes the hot air balloon skywards, you'll gain a whole new perspective of this beautifully preserved site. Soar over the ruins, enjoying the fresh morning air and the silence it brings, broken only by the occasional blast of the burner and the ‘ooos' and ‘ahhhs' of your group. The Roman theatre is the star attraction. It was built in the 2nd-century BC during the reign of Marcus Aurelius – remember the emperor in the movie Gladiator? That guy. As you gaze down, just imagine those fight scenes playing out to an audience of thousands in the tiered semi-circle. The bird's eye view helps you appreciate the Romans' feat of engineering with the ancient aqueduct snaking its way towards the mountains that once fed it. This is definitely one to have your camera handy for. The surrounding rolling hills and fruit farms, the Mediterranean to the south and the Taurus Mountains to the North frame photos that you'll want to remember. You'll round off the experience with a celebratory glass of fizz and head home with a certificate – just in case you look back and wonder if it was all a dream.

Small-group sunset yacht cruise from Antalya

As the afternoon drifts towards evening, your exclusive TUI itinerary begins. After your transfer to Antalya Harbour, you'll step aboard a fancy yacht and begin cruising along a stretch of Turkey's renowned Turquoise Coast. With only a small group of up to 16 guests on board, there's plenty of space to stretch out, take in the views and enjoy the laidback vibe.Your first stop is Calticak Bay, a peaceful spot away from the crowds where the water is calm, clear and perfect for swimming or floating under the sun. After you've had time to unwind, you'll continue to Mouse Island, a small rocky island surrounded by sparkling blue waters. Here, the visibility is usually best in class so there's a good chance you'll spot small fish and other marine life in the shallows.Before heading back, there's time for one last dip while the sun begins to set over the coastline. Then, you'll enjoy a relaxed cruise back to Antalya Harbour to wrap up the evening.
