Bien avant que les Grecs ou les Romains ne prennent en main une brique, l'Inde comptait de magnifiques temples. En voyageant à la manière indienne authentique, vous vous rendrez en train à Hampi pour découvrir l'un de ses sites historiques les plus prisés, l'ancienne cité de Vijayanagar. Ce circuit de trois jours vous fera découvrir de jolis villages, de la verdure et de l'histoire.

L'aventure commence par un voyage en train, une véritable expérience locale. Longeant la rivière Tungabhadra, vous pourrez admirer de superbes vues du terrain rocheux avant de vous arrêter à Hampi. De là, vous vous dirigerez vers le site de Vijayanagar, inscrit au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO.

Autrefois riche royaume hindou, il regorge de palais et de monuments en ruine que vous aurez tout le loisir d'explorer. Les piliers de pierre musicaux du temple Vitthala et le temple de Virupaksha sont des joyaux remarquables. Dédié à la déesse hindoue Vishnu, il est doté d'une tour de 50 mètres de haut qui est encore utilisée aujourd'hui pour le culte. Enjoy your fill of tasty, local dishes – Goan food is known for its great flavours, and the Portuguese influence gives it that unique culinary twist. When you have finished your meal, you'll have time to wander the spice farm and learn all there is to know about the aromatics they produce, and how they are used.

This is one of India's premier wildlife sanctuaries and the largest protected area in southern India. After a scenic drive to the park, you'll take a thrilling safari ride to spot impressive Indian elephants, beautiful Bengal tigers and more. After a wild day out, you'll head back to Mysore to hit the hay. On your last day, the highlight is a trip to Somanathapura and the ancient Keshava Temple, dating back to 1268. As you head northbound towards the airport there's a chance to visit Cubbon Park and Vidhan Soudha if time allows, before jetting back to Goa in the evening.
